DVD FORMAT
DVD's were originally introduced in 1996 and at the time represented a high quality, versatile and convenient format for viewing. In the early 2000's, HD high definition was introduced followed by 4k around 2012 however DVD's were only ever able to support standard definition (SD)
Despite their enduring popularity for dance shows, DVD's are now the poor relation due to their inferior picture quality and rising popularity of on-line streaming services. With this in mind, we can still offer DVD's as an optional extra - see price chart below
USB
USB delivery is a convenient method of delivering and storing your video files. As a method of watching your videos on a TV, this is not something which we advocate as we cannot guarantee compatibility - please click here for more details as to why. USB's are therefore supplied as a storage medium / computer viewing option only. USB's are available as either Clarity Media branded or customised to your school.
LICENSING
Physical delivery formats such as DVD and USB require a copyright license called a Limited Manufacture (LM) License. This allows us to legally use any commercial music from your show in this format and grants permission to manufacture and distribute audio and audio-visual products. The cost for this license varies according the number of deliverables as below :

* as standard, DVD's have custom printing on the disc itself and are supplied in a plain card wallet in black or brown (Kraft). As an option, we can supply a standard size DVD case with a printed inlay - artwork supplied by yourselves. These have a minimum order quantity of 25 at a cost of £50 - additional cases @£3.50. Custom USB's are produced in your choice of single colour and branding. Minimum order 15 units. Prices inc VAT except where stated and delivery to one address.
