VOCAL RECORDING

As you know, for festivals there is usually no microphone or amplification for any vocal performances. Whilst this can be good for teaching voice projection, for some they just cannot be heard throughout the auditorium meaning those precious moments cannot be heard clearly.

 

What sets us apart from our competitors is our attention to detail with audio. We use our own discreet recording device on stage to make sure every performer is captured with superb clarity. We do of course spend some time tweaking the results to make sure the dynamics are all spot on - do have a listen to the below and decide for yourself!

 

As of April 2025 all solo performances featuring vocals are will now be subject to a £5 surcharge which we feel sure you will agree represents great value for the work involved behind the scenes. As good as we are though, we can't do anything about noise from fans, aircon, creaky floors, people talking / coughing, etc etc plus the results are also affected by how loud the performer is and how close they are to the centre front of the stage where the microphone is and how loud the music is in the theatre.
